ABOUT INCILAB

Engineering ingenuity
for human health.

INCILAB is a biomedical engineering research laboratory at Bilkent University’s National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM). We bring together engineering, materials science, and nanotechnology to develop micro- and nanoscale platforms that interrogate, measure, and modulate biological systems. By integrating microfluidics, biosensing, extracellular vesicle technologies, molecular recognition, and minimally invasive biointerfaces, we translate inventive engineering into precise solutions for challenges in biology, medicine, and healthcare.

Self-Funded Visiting Researchers

Researchers interested in joining INCILAB as self-funded visiting researchers are invited to submit their CV and the names of three academic references to Prof. Inci at finci@bilkent.edu.tr. Please use “visiting researcher” as the exact phrase in the subject line of your email.

Applicants should clearly indicate their source of funding and proposed duration of stay. We consider visiting researchers who hold a PhD and intend to conduct research at INCILAB for more than six months.

Candidates with a strong background in chemistry, materials science, biosensing, microfluidics, mechanical engineering, or coding/computational methods are particularly encouraged to apply.

Self-Funded Postdoctoral Research Fellows

Postdoctoral researchers interested in joining INCILAB through self-funded or externally funded fellowship opportunities are invited to submit their CV and the names of three academic references to Prof. Inci at finci@bilkent.edu.tr. Please use “self-funded postdoctoral fellow” as the exact phrase in the subject line of your email.

Applicants should clearly indicate their source of funding and proposed duration of appointment. Candidates are expected to commit to at least two years of research at INCILAB.

Candidates with a background in chemistry, materials science, biosensing, microfluidics, mechanical engineering, or coding/computational methods are particularly encouraged to apply.

Other Research Opportunities

Candidates with strong academic and research records who do not fit the opportunities above are also encouraged to contact Prof. Inci (finci@bilkent.edu.tr) to explore potential research opportunities and ways to contribute to the work of INCILAB.
