He is also editing 3 scientific books in Springer Press and World Scientific. He has also 6 U.S. and International patents on biosensing, medical diagnostics, and micro/nano-scale technologies. Some of them have already been licensed by companies to produce commercial products (CSI-QTM and NGDETM).
In addition, many of his papers were featured on the cover of Advanced Science (2 covers), Small, and Chemical Society Reviews journals and have been also highlighted in National Institutes of Health (NIH)–National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, Science AAAS, Nature Medicine, American Institute of Physics, Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Newsweek, Popular Science, The London Economic, Boston University, BWH, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Florida Atlantic University, Nova Southeastern University, and Dartmouth University. Dr. Inci has also chaired sessions and given invited talks at national and international conferences (50+) around the world, ranging in geography from Barcelona to Osaka, Sydney to Boston, Rio de Janeiro to San Diego, and Istanbul to San Francisco.
In respect of teaching, Dr. Inci has mentored 32 trainees (junior postdoctoral fellows, medical, graduate, undergraduate, and high school students). Many of my trainees have been admitted to Harvard, MIT, University of California San Diego (UCSD), UC-Berkeley, UC-Davis, California Institute of Technology, Yale University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, New York University, and University of Antwerp. They have also been awarded prestigious scholarships at these institutions.
Dr. Inci has also been awarded various scholarships and grants from Turkey Scientific and Technological Research Society (TUBITAK), Canary Center at Stanford with Partnership of OHSU Knight Cancer Institute and Cancer Research UK, European Molecular Biology Organization-European Science Foundation, American Chemical Society, Istanbul University, and Istanbul Technical University. His research along with his collaborators were awarded Biomedical Research Institute Translatable Technologies & Care Innovation Award and BRIght Future Prize from Harvard-BWH; and 3 seed grants from Canary Center and The Precision Health and Integrated Diagnostics Center (PHIND) at Stanford.
